An Enduring Legacy
One of the ways you can ensure Child Wise continues its tireless work in child sexual abuse prevention is to leave a bequest in your Will. A bequest will help to break the cycle of child sexual abuse and its broader social impact for future generations.
There are different types of bequests:
Residual Bequest - This is a simple way to leave what is left in your estate after all your dependents have been provided for.
Pecuniary Bequest - This type of bequest is where you leave a specified sum of money in your Will to Child Wise.
Specific Bequest - This relates to a specific gift in the form of property, shares, insurance policy or money.
Whole Estate - This is where you leave your whole estate to one beneficiary, for example, Child Wise.
Codicil - If you already have a Will and would like to include a gift to Child Wise you need to complete a Codicil. This is a legally binding amendment to your existing Will and should be given to your legal advisor.
If you decide to leave a bequest to Child Wise, please contact us to advise of your intention. This information will be held in strictest confidence and will not be legally binding. Telephone Child Wise on (03) 9998 9906 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
